A:AnswerI got this TV and HDR is only coming on Hdmi 1.
No other hdmi ports are HDR enabled as they are only hdmi 1.4 rated whereas hdmi1 is hdmi 2.0 rated.
A:AnswerYes it s a smart TV, however the way it's built you will need a smart phone to control it. Sucks. The remote control is so basic you can't do much, that's why is on sale now. Unless you want to use your cell all the time with the TV all is fine
A:AnswerThe legs on the TV are 54 inches apart. We have it on a 60 inch TV stand, and it fits nice...I would not go any smaller than 60 inches for the stand.
A:AnswerWith the VIZIO SmartCast units wth Chromecast built in the phone or tablet is simply a control device that sends a signal to the display telling it to go to Netflix and play the content you have chosen. This runs off of your home internet not your data.
A:AnswerI researched this exact same queston before buying the less expensive TV. I used the COMPARE feature on Bestbuy.com and simply scrolled down to compare all the features. There were definitely a few minor differences, but they were minor enough that I literally can't remember, and minor enough that I bought the "lesser" unit.
A:AnswerIt will be HDR Enabled by firmware update version which I believe 3.0.12.0.
Mine is 3.0.14.0 and HDR comes only on HDMI 1 as this is the port which has hdmi 2.0 full bandwidth.
Other ports didn't get HDR as they are HDMI 1.4 even though all ports are hdcp 2.2 rated.
A:AnswerThe VIZIO SmartCast technology allows customers the ability to cast multiple apps such as Netflix and YouTube from your mobile device. As long as you are receiving a 4K signal from the service you will be able to watch in 4K. Some services require an upgraded subscription to receive 4K content.
A:AnswerThere are plenty of external digital TV tuners out there you can hook up to it. I prefer a TV with a built-in tuner however and will be returning mine due to this reason. Also, because the remote is worthless.
A:AnswerHi GRAFXGUY! VIZIO SmartCast technology allows our customers access to thousands of cast capable applications including Sling TV. Instead of loading the app on your TV you open it on your Smart phone or tablet and "cast" or "fling" the app to your display.
A:AnswerHi DKBEST! VIZIO Display's have wide settings that allow customers to use zoom, stretch, wide, or standard options available through the SmartCast application.
A:AnswerIf you want to access your actual TV settings (sleep timer, display and audio settings, etc) then you HAVE to use your smartphone. I have a Logitech universal remote and tried to see if it would be able to access the main settings but it didn't work. There doesn't seem to be a way around it unfortunately. I will be returning my "TV" shortly to get a refund.
