QuestionHow do you get 4k Netflix with Google Cast?Everything I've read said that Netflix through Chrome Cast is only 1080p. If this TV only has Cast rather than Netflix & Amazon pre-loaded as apps, how do you get those services' 4k content? Or will the TV attempt to upscale it?

- Answer Google Cast and Chrome cast cannot be used interchangeably. ChromeCast is a piece of hardware developed by google as a cheap casting device. Google Cast is the software that runs the hardware, but a Chromecast is not required to use it. Yes, Chrome Cast hardware is limited to 1080p. But the Google Cast software does not share this limitation. Hope this helps clear things up a bit.

QuestionHdmi 5 is dedicated to gaming with a low input lag. Sounds good but hdmi 1-4 isn't so if I own a ps4 and an Xbox one will I have to constantly switch HDMI's between the 2 systems to get them to run on hdmi 5 since that has the lowest input lag.

- Answer Hello I own this TV and am a Twitchy gamer and bought this t.v. researching only low input lag tvs. I use to own the Sony w802a top rated input lag TV. Always this P-Series 65 inch is incredibly fast for all 5 Hdmi inputs.. All inputs can handle 4k as well.. I have my PS4 in Input 5 and Xbox One in Input 1. I also own a Benqrl27HM 1gtg input lag. This TV you will not have a problem playing fast paced fps games.. Also let it be known that when in Game Low Latency Mode the picture quality doesn't distort at all.. This is a Must own 4k HDR Dolby Vision Set for Gamers.. 65 Inch and 75 Inch are VA Panels. I own the 65 Inch and its a Agressive Gaming TV for FPS Gamers like myself. Halo 1 and Blackops 1 and 2, and Halo 5/ NBA2k16

QuestionHow does the tablet work when you are watching cable which runs to the TV through a cablebox? What I'm really asking is how useful is the tablet if 80% of the time the TV is used to watch cable or dvr material?

- Answer It's useful for finetuning the display and other setting while still watching your content, so you can see the changes happen while you adjust. You can use it to 'Cast' whatever is on the tablet (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc) to the TV. If you are watching cable/satellite, then don't use the tablet, or use the tablet to surf the Internet while you watch cable.

- Answer Honestly, there is no such thing as HDMI 2.0 cables, only a new "Premium" certification that few cables have. After tons of research and trying a number of cables, just use a 6 foot or shorter and thick "High Speed" cable and you will be fine.

QuestionHow does content get upscaled? Is there a setting I need to enable or is it automatic? Regardless, does this TV attempt to upscale all content?

- Answer It upscales everything automatically, otherwise the picture wouldn't take up the whole screen. You can play with the sharpness setting if the upscaled image looks too "soft" but don't turn sharpness up too much or it will make it look worse.

- Answer Thank you for inquiring about our product. If you wish to watch TV through an antenna, or a basic cable connection (coax), you would need an external tuner. If your cable service uses a cable box that has HDMI, composite, or component input, then you can use that, and you do not need anything extra. Tuner-free is designating that there is no coaxial port or TV tuner built-in. Thanks again and have a great day.

- Answer Leg placement is not adjustable. One could place a long board beneath the legs, then place the board onto another table.

QuestionI have Directv and there are some low res channels that look awful on the 65 inch set I have.Does anyone know if Vizio has heard customer complaints about the poor quality up scaling the P series does on low resolution channels.

- Answer The p65-c1 does not upscale 480i or 480p content well; even on a calibrated device the picture is 'soft' and lacks sharp definition. It reminds me of dream sequence scenes in movies. 720p and 1080p upscaling depends on the source. Satellite and cable providers deliver highly compressed, lossy 720p or 1080i content that doesn't scale well on the p65-c1. However, high quality Blu-ray, ripped 720p and 1080p content at high bit rates and even OTA 1080p content (you'll need a Home Run network TV tuner or TiVo OTA device for broadcast content with the 2016 Vizio s) do scale well enough.

QuestionHow are the speakers on this TV?The description says they are some kind of dolby speakers. Would they sound good for a small apartment or will I need to buy a sound bar. I'm not looking for anything loud. Just a nice sound.

- Answer Good sound is relative. I just bought this TV a couple days ago and after listening to its internal speakers, I can say that the sound is not that good. I do have a nice sound system though so like i said, good sound is relative. But really, a display's ultimate goal is picture quality, not sound. And based on that criteria, this TV is very worth it!

- Answer Getting the calibration "just right" can get a little involved. Your best bet is to check the AVS forum. They have an entire section dedicated to Vizio P Calibration settings. - Answer Yup! Sonos works great for 5.1 Dolby Digital via optical cable. So far I have tried PS4, Apple TV, and Netflix streams. The included mini remote will also control volume of Sonos Playbar.
