I have this same issue. I have to manually flip the switch on the back for it to get going again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only answer we can give is that it seems the subwoofer goes in 'sleep mode' and we have to adjust volume on tv up and down until the subwoofer 'wakes' up. But we haven't physically turned the subwoofer on each time. Not sure this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks so much for the quick help! I spoke with a Vizio rep last night and we realized that I have a defective unit. They're replacing it right away. I love this soundbar though and am anxious to receive the new one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it should. Go into your TV menu under audio and see if it has an option to turn off the TV speakers. I have a Vizio TV and I set it to AUTO so it detects the sound bar so it turns on when the TV does. Good luck...
