How many watts is this soundbar? How many tweeters and woofers? Does this unit have a headphone jack? 3.5mm adapter? HDMI outlet? Thank you. Stay safe.

The power refers to 2 things: first, the amount of amplification the amplifier in the soundbar produces (usually the maximum amount it is capable of) and second, the maximum amount of watts the speaker can handle without distorting the sound or, ever worse, before you blow the drivers out. However, what you are interested as a consumer is how loud the speaker can get without distorting the sound. What you need is a soundbar that can fill the room with audio without distortion. This will require basically two things: high quality speakers and powerful amplifier, especially if the soundbar is a multichannel home theater system, because in order to get the explosive dramatic effects of an action movie, the amp has to have the power to rapidly increase the decibels and the speakers to be able to take this power without distorting the sound. Now, what he is answering is also useless. The sound pressure (properly called sound pressure level, SPL) of 101dB he is talking about is a technical term for how loud the soundbar is at 1 meter from it and that's probably the maximum loudness. How loud is 101dB? It's very loud. If you've seen "Deepwater horizon", the loudest scenes with the explosions reached about this level. But you don't stay 1 meter from the soundbar but usually at about 4 m (15 feet). At this distance the maximum sound the soundbar can produce will be 92dB (3db quieter for every meter distance away form the soundbar). The question is, id the 101dB of SPL he refers to the point of distortion of the maximum sound of the soundbar? Because what is the benefit of having a loud speaker when the sound is noise. Besides, if you want to watch a movie, you will need a little more than 92db at the distance you sit in order to experience those brief explosions or crashes, etc, of a well-made action movie (usually around 100db), and of course without distortion. Unfortunately, you don't see any of those specs provided by the seller of manufacturer and therefore it is difficult to get exactly what you want, hence the so many returns when people see that soundbar is not what the ads said it was. To add insult to injury, manufacturers constantly lie about speakers SPL and of course never says how it changes with frequency or if that's the SPL at the point of distortion of sound or the maximum sound the speaker can produce (of course at this point it's mostly noise).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vizio doesn't advertise the wattage of the amps inside their soundbars or subwoofers because they fear many people would be surprised and "put off" as to how low the number of watts they actually put out. I understand that. I get it. True, just as more "horsepower" in a car doesn't always mean a faster car, a receiver or soundbar system with low wattage, say, only 25 or 35 watts, doesn't mean it won't rock your teeth out in your living room. There are other specs and factors involved. That being said, just for curiosity's sake, I would be very interested in knowing the amp wattage in Vizio's soundbars and subs. It would just confirm to me how well their systems are designed to be able put out such incredible sound and bass for such small bars and subs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The soundbar frequency is 50Hz - 20kHz, the sub woofer is 50Hz- 100Hz. The pressure level is 101dB. We do not measure in watts.
