I just went through the same scenario and only bought the sound bar package 5 days ago. Today I noticed that everything worked but the satellite speakers. So, I re-paired everything with no success. I have the solution. Fortunately, I also have a VIZIO television and read the TV manual which told me to put the audio output on BITSTREAM for any sound system over 2 speakers. I had it on PCM. Voila - not only was the problem solved, but also the sound is much better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. Make sure the subwoofer and soundbar are synced 2. Make sure satellite speakers are connected to subwoofer 3. Set the EQ to movie 4. Go to YouTube and search for a “surround sound” video 5. Play video and you should hear the satellite speakers The issue is...you will not hear the satellite speakers unless what you are watching/listening to has surround sound. Not all videos are created with surround sound/Dolby.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The satellite speakers are used for 'Surround Sound'. Generally, you'll hear background or ambient noise like music, explosions, birds chirping, and other 'background' noises. For best results try watching an action movie or listening to a music channel. If the speakers still aren't working, make sure they securely connected to the sub woofer, and that you're sub woofer is properly paired. If you're still having trouble- please contact tech support. We have chat and email options on support.vizio.com, or over the phone at 877-878-4946. We'd love to help you out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Reset the blue-tooth connection between the subwoofer and the soundbar. there are 2 buttons on the back of the subwoofer. Push the one closest to the center of the subwoofer until the light blinks. Then push the button marked "bluetooth" on top of the soundbar. See pages 14 and 33 in the owner's manual.

The answer to this specific concern is to set the EQ to "Movie" using the controller settings by pressing the menu button then scrolling. If you turn down the "center volume from maximum by a couple of notches and turn the "surround" levels up to the max, you'll start to find the sound you may be looking for. Enjoy.
