Is this a noisy fan? null

The 533 puts out 55 decibels on high, 36 on low.

Yes, on max setting it can be quite noisy

I don't think it is noisy. You can hear it but it's not obnoxious like the old standing square fans. I have two running at the same time and I forget they are even on. Hope this helps.
