“Please help! This phone just doesn't show caller ID when people call no matter from what phone they use. How can you help me out with this issue? Thanks!”

It does show caller id . But no answering capability.

Caller ID is a subscription service, available from most local telephone service providers. You must subscribe to these services in order for the feature to work on your phone. If you have this service but the Caller ID still doesn't show, you may try to reset your phone system by doing the following steps. Step 1. Disconnect the AC adapter from the base. Step 2. Disconnect all handset batteries. Step 3. Wait for 1 minute, then reconnect the AC adapter and batteries. Step 4. Observe inbound calls for Caller ID activity. If this doesn't work, please call us at 1-800-595-9511 for troubleshooting. We are open from Monday to Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM PST.
