A:Answer I've never had the phone run out of charge while on hold, and at least once that was a fairly significant time. However, since there are two phones with this system, and you can use both at the same time without one cutting off, if you get a low battery warning while using one, you could just go get the second, and press the green button to activate the second receiver, and put the first back on the base to charge.
