Yes, you can purchase a battery for your telephone system, but you can also try these troubleshooting steps to rectify the issue: To ensure that the unit is charging, the charge LED light is on steady when the cordless handsets are cradled to the base. Also confirm that the electrical outlet is working and is not controlled by a wall switch.
