QuestionMy friend gave me this monitor and I am trying to set it up but it wants to connect to her old internet and won't connect to mine. Says failure to connect. Is there a way to restart the unit so it forgets the old WiFi?

- Answer Hi - Here's how you can change the WiFi connection on the RM5752. 1. Press Menu button on the parent unit. 2. Scroll to the Wi-Fi icon, then press Menu. 3. Select Configure Wi-Fi. 4. A list of available connections will appear, select your network then enter the password when asked, If this does not help, please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511. - Answer The VTech VM5262 is not compatible to an iPhone. This unit will only work as a set and is not compatible with any devices. However, the RM5752 has the feature you are looking for which you can remotely access your baby monitor away from home by connecting the unit to your wi-fi and accessing the app through your iPhone.

- Answer Hi - The baby and parent unit of the VTech RM5752 has to be connected on the same Wi-Fi. You will still be able to use your smartphone to monitor even if it is not connected on the same Wi-Fi. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionI purchased this monitor at Best Buy, but the app seems to be stuck in 480p (hd option is grayed out and I can’t click on it)? How do I switch to 1080p? I have Xfinity gigabit service so I don’t think it’s a bandwidth issue.

QuestionHI, My device connected to my Wifi perfectly the first time. I turned it off and cannot find the wifi at all now. The router is working and all my other devices can find the wifi but the V-tech cannot. I have connected it to my 2.5ghz wifi. Thanks

- Answer For my purpose, I leave it plugged in continuously. It’s wireless but I found that the charge only last about 5 hours. I use to monitor my downstairs, not baby monitoring.

QuestionHi, We just got our new rm5752 monitor but the zoom buttons dont seem to work. We have tried everything. It will show 1X/2X and go back and forth but the picture never changes or zoom in. I have tried looking online but no info for this on website.

- Answer Adam - Wi-Fi connection is required during initial setup of the VTech RM5752. Once your camera is located, the system will connect the camera via the same Wi-Fi network that your parent unit has connected to. When the camera is successfully added to your parent unit, the parent unit displays the camera image. Remote monitoring via the app is optional. Thank you, -VTech Support
