It can connect to pretty much any windows or apple laptop/desktop, as long as they have USB-A and an open HDMI port (they also have to be a little decent in performance, a super slow or old computer will have latency issues). As far as apps, it will work with almost any drawing app, including but not limited to Photoshop, Krita, etc. The Wacom Cintiq is pretty much going to act like a second monitor, just with pen input which will mimic your mouse, but with pressure sensitivity.
