Same situation - no battery in the box. Called the Geek Squad number ans they offered to either send me the replacement or i could pick it up in store. For the person saying that it doesn't come with the battery, it's listed in the 'what's included' section on the product description.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The pen does not include a battery. The batteries are inexpensive and cost about $4. The pen only needs 1 AAAA battery. I am unsure of your location but I purchased mine at Walgreens for $5. The pen battery life exceeds 5 months so you won't need to purchase it for a while. The package comes with 2 batteries. Best Buy will most likely have these batteries on premise.
