- Answer Hello Kibria, Thank you for your interest in our SlimLine 800W Power Inverter, in regards to your inquiry, we believe there might be some misunderstanding as to what this device does. This device is an inverter that will convert DC 12V power into 120V AC power and will operate and run for as long as the power provided can sustain. The Device needs to be connected to a 12V power Source such as your vehicle's Battery, and the amount of times that the inverter can charge your laptop will depend on the battery size and capacity that the inverter is connected to. (For a Layman's term perspective, it would be like asking how long a Flashlight [that requires batteries] will run. The answer would be: it depends on how long the batteries will last. This is the same for the inverter, the inverter will work always, but it will only power for as long as the battery it is connected to can supply power).

QuestionWhat is the difference between a modified and a pure sine wave inverter? If I am just looking to run cell phones, tablets and small things like that which is better?

- Answer Pure sine wave inverters have a "cleaner" sign wave that is required to run some sensitive electronics and some motors. These have a lower harmonic distortion (<3%) that some high end electronic boards like newer furnace boards, high end TVs, newer refrigerators, high end motors, etc. These are more expensive and are not necessary to run simple devices like you describe. Modified sine wave inverters are fine to power simple lower wattage devices such as what you asked about.

- Answer Yes! The Slim Line 800 W Power Inverter is designed to allow it to be permanently mounted to your vehicle. Just make sure to that it is protected from the elements (keep it dry) and allow for proper air flow and ventilation so that the inverter does not run the risk of overheating.

- Answer You must have an external 12 volt source like a car battery in order to for this inverter to provide 120 volts required to run your CPAP machine.

QuestionWould this be able to power a power reclining sofa all day everyday?

- Answer As long as the chair isn't pulling more than 7.5 amps you should be good. This unit will support 800w continuous but you will need to keep it from over heating. I don't have any idea at what temp it will overheat. I had the unit under my hood running a computer and monitor for almost 6 hrs and it did fine.

- Answer Hello Black, Yes! If the Rice Cooker does only require 700W AC then the Slimline 800 W power inverter should be able to run the device. However, when purchasing an inverter we always recommend allowing yourself a 20% buffer in order to ensure that your Rice Cooker will operate with no problems and would recommend the SlimLine 1,000W Power inverter.

- Answer Hello BigATees, The Inverter only provides 800 Watts max and your Iron requires 900 - 2000 Watts so even at the LOWEST, 900 Watts would still be more than the 800 Watts (MAXIMUM that this inverter is capable of) so this inverter would not be powerful enough. You would need a 2,000 Watt Inverter to properly provide power for your iron.

QuestionI have the godoggo g4 fetch machine that uses an AC adapter or 6 D batteries. The batteries must be removed if using the adapter. I am trying to find something that I can power this with when an outlet is not available. Would this work?

- Answer Hello Lkay, The Wagan Tech Slim Line 800W Power inverter would be able to provide up to 800W of power and can therefore power any device that requires 800W or less. Please refer to the instructions manual or contact the Manufacturer of your GoDoggo G4 Fetch machine to determine the power input required by that particular device (as long as its 800W or less, it will work).
