Best Buy will not accept a return of a filter for any reason. They rejected my return for a defective filter and redirected me to GE for a warranty. GE does not honor warranties of filters purchased from Best Buy or any other third party. Best Buy’s product information for this filter is misleading. A 30-day manufacturers warranty is listed but Best Buy and GE will not warranty this product at all. I was able to get a one-time replacement as a courtesy from the GE Appliance Twitter account.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about the manufacturers warranty but bestbuy stands by it's products. If you purchased from bestbuy, call them. But with that being said, the problem yiu have may nkt be the filter but the settings of your refrigerator. The filter is just that; a filter!
