QuestionDo i HAVE to use the faucet that comes with this system?

- Answer Hi, Thanks for your interest in our TSU product. Regarding using your own dedicated faucet You could use your own dedicated faucet with our product, but not normal faucet for tap water. There are a few things you may need to know before purchasing one: a. Your dedicated faucet should be able to connect with the outlet PE tubing of the unit, diameter 1/4". b. It should have a "Quick-Connect Fitting", as shown below: https://streamable.com/06u4rj OR, it should come with a set of accessory parts, which allows connection with the bare end of a 1/4" PE tubing. Example: https://youtu.be/m7NEkftR-sA?t=93 c. If the faucet does not meet any of those requirements, you may need to acquire corresponding adapter(s) to finish the connection (we don't carry those adapters). In order to achieve the best installation outcome, we do NOT recommend using faucets other than the original one. - Answer Test samples of the water would have to be sent to a Certified Lab. I love everything about this water filler system. It was easy to install, the price was not bad compared to other filters, the filters last a long time depending on use, it filters bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants, and most of all it taste great. No more bottled water for us. Hope this helps.

QuestionCan I connect this system to my refrigerator ice supply line? We use the fridge as the main source of water we drink. My fridge is connected with a PEX waterline with brass ¼-in. capture nuts on each end. Can I just cut the PEX & insert into this device?

The premise is that you need to get an accessory to insert into this device. If you decide not to use our original faucet, this function will not be in effect. You can still check the indicators on the front panel for filter lifetime status. b. Your dedicated faucet should be able to connect with the outlet PE tubing of the unit, diameter 1/4". c. Please note that this unit comes with parts for installation; it's suitable for 3/8" or 1/2" water supply valve with compressed threading, thank you. You may need to drill a hole on the counter to place the dedicated faucet; the other parts are included. 2. This is NOT an RO unit so it won't produce any waste water; there's no concept of ratio for this model, thank you.
