• That's how mine works! It's loud but it's creating a lot of pressurized water to remove extra gunk between the teeth. Provides wonderful results

• Yes it does make a lot of noise especially when you use it in the evening when everyone is asleep, otherwise it works great.

• Mine is noisy as well. I put it on a rubber trivet meant to be a pot holder. It still makes noise pumping out it stays put in one place.
