Don’t really know...I’ve been using this model for many years...water to 2/3, mouth wash to about 7/8 rest hydrogen peroxide. Not a dentist or anything so don’t take this as researched or recommended, but it works for me.

They are only meant to be installed into the special chamber of the Whitening Water Flossers specifically.
