Yes, it should work with that model, and any other desktop computer model the uses a 3.5" SATA hard drive. Not sure what the other repsondent is referring to, SATA hard drives do not do master and slave configuration the way older PATA hard drives did. The drive can be installed alone, or along with any other drive as long as there is room for the drive in the case, the power supply has a free SATA power connector, and the motherboard has a free SATA connector.

Also got to have a slot to place unit in. it is a internal, not external. Old hard drive must come out and replace with new. make sure to back up system and files on to external hard drive before taking down system. Can not be slaved.
