This drive is a SATA drive and is compatible with all modern PCs. The drive comes with installation instructions.

Since it comes with a 2TB drive then it is probably a SATA drive and the WD is also a SATA drive. The other concern is if you have space. If replacing the original drive then yes this will fit in the existing slot. If adding then you need to make sure there is an additional drive slot (there should be on desktop models) and that you have or purchase the power and data cables for the additional SATA.
