Q: QuestionI see that the name of it says that it is for a laptop. In the description, however, it says it’s ideal for laptop and desktop. Will this work for both?

• A:Answer If your motherboard has an M.2 slot... or you adapt it using a PCI card, or SATA adapter, this will work just fine with a desktop. Most modern (past 2 years) desktops will have the M.2 slot inside

However, due to PS5 restrictions, games can only be played off the console’s internal SSD. • A:Answer No, it only fits in an m.2 NVME port. You can pug in an adapter to that slot and insert an m.2 or two for under $20.00.

Q: Questiondoes it come with thermal pads ?

• A:Answer Does not come with thermal pads. Most motherboards that have an NVME cover will have thermal pads pre-applied. It is ok to run this without a cover. I have two and only one is cover with thermal pads and thats because its behind the GPU. The second one is in open air and doesnt overheat or lose performance.
