Yes, it will work. I would say it would be a good mid-range drive. But, best top-end (higher sustained writing speed) would be the WD Black SN-750, or the Samsung 970 EVO. Hope this helps.

Bought this for my husband's PC build, he has an Acer Nitro 5 that he recommends the WD Black SN750 NVME SSD, the blue will work however the black is better for gaming.
