It wouldn't be able to connect up to an iPad or iPhone, but it would be able to be connected to a Mac or Windows based computer. Once connected, you could store pictures and music on it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It requires formatting for Mac use. So in this case you would need to wipe the hard drive, move your data to the hard drive from Mac and that would be it. I don't believe if you hook it up to a Windows computer after,wards, it would be recognized.
