Hi JSC9, HDD or Hard Disk Drive is a data storage device that consists of mechanical parts inside. HDD rely on spinning disk, or metal platter with a magnetic coating, to read and write data. Solid-state drives or SSDs, which means there are no moving parts in the drive. Without the spinning disk, head, and arm, SSDs can go down to the shape and size, making them more flexible for smaller devices. -Need Help? Please see our "'Contact Us" page for information
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SSD is faster than HDD. SSD's are more reliable than HDD's and use less power also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDD = Hard Disk Drive - that spins like a record player requiring fan/cooling system and SSD is Solid State Drive similar to a Thumb/Flash Drive but larger. By the way, Google is a wonderful thing. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/docs/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-vs-hdd.html#:~:text=Solid%20state%20drives%20(SSDs)%20and,they%20compare%20side%20by%20side.
