It's this compatible with Xbox one null

I am using this hard drive with an Xbox one S. It works as intended with my Xbox model.

Yes it is compatible BUT the Xbox will reformat the drive so it can be used as additional stowage. If you used the external drive for anything else,(stowage of files ect from a non Xbox source) it will be lost including any utility programs. I had started running out of room for game updates and moved the games and previous add-ons / updates to the external drive. The Xbox will put whatever you select in a "que" then move them from the internal hard drive to the external hard drive. In my case it took several minutes to put them in the que and about 30 minutes to move them to the external drive. I also changed the default stowage device to the external drive.
