Maybe a silly question, but did you format the drive as Mac journaled extended or leave as NTFS. If NTFS then you will need something like Tuxera NTFS in order to transfer files.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drive comes formatted as NTFS. Mac OS cannot write to this file system. Go to disk utility app on the mac and erase the hard drive and choose hfs extended journaled as the file type. After that you will be able to rad and write to this drive with your mac.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased the drive and had the same problem. It even had me to go download and install NTFS disk tools. If you're working on a simple workflow, like me, you just need to go to Disk Utility. It'll show external drives connected. Select the drive that's giving you the problem. Click on Partition. Change the Format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Once this was completed, I was able to drag and drop files to the external drive. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Evidently the drive mounts as a "read only" drive on Macs and it must be reformatted before it will integrate into the OS. Do this using the Disk Utility on the Mac. You also might need NTFS for Mac which is free.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem at first. I had to hook it to my older Mac and reformat the drive. Now it works perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can’t drag and drop folders in easy store on my Mac.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.did you format this new drive using Disk utility? Do you have admin privieldges?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you do not have a NTFS read/write plugin for MAC, it will not allow you to copy to the new drive (unless is formatted for MAC).
