Can this be used for PS5? null

Yes, i’ve been using the easystore ssd for some time now, it works pretty well and has a ton of storage for all my ps5 and ps4 games. the only problem i’ve encountered is that it disconnects every 2 months or so out of nowhere. the problem isn’t that serious but it just scares me every time the ssd disconnects while playing minecraft

Yes. PS5 uses external drives primarily to store and run PS4 games. PS5 game installs go to internal SSD drive first and can be "backed up to external drive" if space is required, but must be moved back to PS5 system drive to play game. Sony will be providing list of compatible internal SSD drives in the future for main system expansion.
