A:Answer When you say - backup continuously- are you referring to a Time Machine backup ? Then you would have to go into time machine and assign the Easystore drive as the time machine backup. When you do that, everytime you turn on your computer with the Easystore plugged into one of the USB ports, it will automatically start backing up your system. Just for my own piece of mind, I don’t keep my external hard drives attached. I usually power my laptop up first, then plug in my externals. Then when powering off for the day, I eject all ext drives first before a full power down.
