A:AnswerI had the same problem. Had to do a second transfer to bring over all my files. I believe this is a program bug as I don't have this issue when transferring between any two of my other devices. Transferring photo data was not as easy as with my other devices. Lots of quirks with the Wireless Pro. Hopefully this will be worked out in future firmware versions.

A:AnswerI don't know about Windows, but I know you can read/write files from MacOS and Ubuntu-Mate Linux, so I am sure you will be able to do the same with Windows.
A:AnswerGood question and I assume you mean at the same time. I didn't see anywhere in the manual of being able to connect to multiple devices. Contact WD for an answer to this question.
A:AnswerIf you have this drive mapped to your computer and are using it to store files then yes crypto or ransomware viruses can encrypt your network drive. I have seen it all the time. but if you use a backup solution such as Veeam End Point Manager and do not have the drive mapped to your computer then no they cannot. Ransomware cannot encrypt what it cannot see.
A:AnswerYes you can and with reasonably good security (Login and password). You can also define what remote users can see on the hard disk. To access, you simply go to www.mycloud.com and login.
A:AnswerAny device that has the capability to view all ports can be used to connect to the Wireless Pro as it just looks like another memory device connected via USB.
A:AnswerThat depends upon the security system. If the security system can write to file shares, NFS, or to a FTP server it should be able to work with the MyCloud. If you need USB storage you'd have to get the MyPassport USB hard drive instead.
A:AnswerYou'll need an app that backs up your user data for each type of system ie: PC and/or Mac. If you want to get ALL the data from each system you'll need some sort of mirroring app to make the transfers.
A:AnswerNo, it is not a USB hard drive, but you can access the files through the network using numerous protocols (Windows File Share, Apple File Share, FTP, NFS, or via the WD Cloud Interface).
A:AnswerI have my iTunes library on a 4 TB MyCloud drive so the whole family can access it and share content. I don't think you can sync wirelessly though. Don't you need to plug the iPhone/iPad/etc into a USB port for sync'ing?
