• You must connect this unit to the router via Ethernet cable.

• I just got home from Best Buy. I exchanged it. I connected it to the router through the Ethernet port, and supposedly that’s how it is supposed to work. The HD never had a steady light, meaning, it was ready to be used. I YouTubed as well and followed the video and nothing. Sorry I couldn’t help...
