Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you plug it directly into the iMac, or into a hub. If it's into a hub, try plugging directly into the iMac. If you plugged it into the iMac and it didn't work, try it on another computer, then you will know if it's a problem with the hard drive or the usb port. If it won't work on another computer either, take it back to Best Buy, or contact WD for a warranty exchange.
