Please try again later.that depends on your console. it comes formatted at NTFS. you can change that to exfat through pc (right click drive, format and pick exfat) so it works with ps4. if you need it for ps3 then you will have to make it fat32. heres where things get tricky, fat32 will work for ps3 and ps4 but you cant put files bigger then 4 gigs on it. with exfat there really isnt a individual file size limit. so if you using it for a external hard drive for games on ps4 it would be exfat. if your using it for lets say videos to watch on ps3 then it needs to be fat32 other systems im not sure
