- Answer This item works great with the Xbox One. Simply plug it in while the system is on and the Xbox One will handle the rest. No noticeable lag in game load times at all. In fact, it may be a little faster. Best of all, plenty of room for games - load all you want for some time to come.

- Answer No extra backup program needed. It comes with a company program, I personally don't use this program. Works very well with Windows 10

- Answer 1. Close all the files you have open on the drive. 2. Right click on the My Computer (or This PC on Win10) icon and select mange. 3. Once that window comes up go to Disk Management on the left side. 4. Right click on the drive letter (should be listed at the top). 5. There is an option there to change the drive letter and paths. 6. Select the drive, click change, select the desired drive letter and then hit OK. Another way to get the Computer Management screen up is hold down the windows key and hit R to open a run prompt. enter in "compmgmt.msc" without the quotes and hit enter. Then pick up from step 3 above.

- Answer Yes - apparently so, according to Crystal Disk. I bought one, and am quite annoyed that a drive this large is this slow. Granted it is relatively cheap, and the warranty is 3 years, but there is no indication on the packaging or the drive itself or any info even on the WD site regarding the rotational speed of this drive, which I find rather unusual.

- Answer That's up to Windows and how you format it. For the best cross platform compatibility use exFAT as your format type. macOS cannot write to NTFS and Windows requires help to read/write HFS+ (mac standard). exFAT will work on both.

QuestionAs a lifelong PC user, I'm still learning the world of Mac. Having just recently purchased a Mac, I didn't know if this would be compatible and if I would be able to use this product on both a PC and a Mac. Can this be used for both Mac and PC?

- Answer As formatted, this drive is ready for PC. MAC can READ files from the drive, but it will be read-only. MAC could not WRITE files to the filesystem as formatted. To use this drive with BOTH MAC & PC, reformat it as exFAT on your MAC. Then, both your MAC and PC can read and write to the filesystem. If you only want to use this drive on MAC, format it as Journaled on you MAC. Time Machine on MAC can use the drive if it is exFAT, but you have to do a few more commands so that Time Machine can see it. Google: timemachine exfat sparsebundle to find the command. We are PC users in our house. but using a new Macbook Pro for work. Took a while to figure out why all of my usb drives were read-only on my Mac. Lots of new things to learn. Good luck!

- Answer You cannot do this with WD external drives as far as I know. To keep size in check, they build these drives with a proprietary connection that doesn't look like usual SATA connector. Hope this helps.

- Answer Once you plug in the drive to your PS4, it should prompt you in your notifications that a storage device is connected and ask if you’d like to format the drive for use.

- Answer I bought two and the drives most certainly work with both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Both systems automatically detected the drive and formatted it.
