I have a PC with both 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports. I use my WD - My Passport Ultra on both ports without issue. Obviously the 3.0 port transfers faster. The drive comes with the USB cable needed. There are no other connections required as the USP cable provides the power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will work with USB 2.0, but at USB 2.0 speeds. I do not have a USB 3.0 computer, so I always use USB 2.0. Hope this helps and have a great day!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive does not have its own power supply. It needs a powered USB port. I have used it with USB 2.0 and it works flawlessly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should work just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work with usb 2.0 but it would require a Y cable for additional power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive is USB 3, it will use a USB 3 port at it's full speed. I didn't look at the minimum requirements but if it says 2.0 required it's just saying that it won't work with USB 1, it needs at least 2.0. This drive gets it's power from the USB, so there is no external power supply. That might be the stopper if Dish says it needs it own power supply. You would be better to look for "desktop" external drives instead of "portable".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, it will work. Mine is used on usb2
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 It just runs slower, but data does transfer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its just transfer speed that differs. i believe rest is same, so it should work for you
