Weber grills are designed and engineered in the USA, incorporating globally sourced parts. Go-Anywhere, Spirit, Spirit II, and Limited Edition Red Kettle series of Weber grills are assembled in China, incorporating globally sourced components. Our Q, Summit, SmokeFire, and all charcoal series models (except for Charcoal Go-Anywhere & the Limited Edition Red Kettle) are made in Illinois, incorporating globally sourced components. Between November, 2018 and November of 2019, Weber used a “dual source” approach to the manufacture of Weber’s Genesis II series gas grills. Some of the Genesis II grills are manufactured at our plant in Palatine, Illinois incorporating globally sourced component parts. Some of our Genesis II grills are manufactured in China. The quality of the Genesis II grills are identical, no matter where they are sourced from, and the warranty you receive with a Genesis II grill is also identical. Please check the box of a Genesis II series grill and there will be a “Statement of Origin” that identifies the location where the Genesis II grill was manufactured. As of November 2019, all Genesis II models are again manufactured in Illinois. Our accessories are designed and engineered in the USA, and many of them are sourced and manufactured outside the USA.
