• A:Answer Yes, the signals are using whatever/whichever tower is the closest. I have t-mobile, Google Fi and Verizon devices. It totally Depends on the towers distance and provider you are getting reception from ‘whether you get 3,4 or 5G. The device just boosts whatever service is available not a specific providers service.

Q: QuestionIs the Destination Rv version of this really much more powerful? I may need that but would rally like this one instead because it can be stationary or moving.

• A:Answer Due to FCC regulations, booster units that are designed for mobile use, like the Reach RV, are limited in the max gain allowed. The Drive Reach RV has a max gain of 50 dB. The Destination RV is a stationary booster, so it has a max gain of 65 dB. This means the Destination RV will be able to help you connect to towers further away than the Reach RV, but you would need to be stationary to use it. Both are the top of the line RV boosters, the Destination though is our most powerful RV booster.

• A:Answer Hello, the Verizon booster registration requires its customers to sign in to register a booster. The FCC wants everyone to register signal boosters with their carrier, but it is not required for it to function. In other words, it will work the same if it's registered or not. Often times, cell carriers aren't very familiar with signal boosters, understandably, because they aren't their products.

Q: QuestionF I want this for a van what is the shortest distance capabilities between the inside antenna and the outside antenna

• A:Answer The weBoost Drive Reach RV comes with a 25' cable that is used to attached the outside antenna to the booster inside. Antennas connected to a booster create spheres of signal. When these spheres overlap, a condition called oscillation occurs. Oscillation can be thought of as noise, which causes the booster to scale down it’s power or shut down to prevent damage. The best way to keep these spheres of signal from overlapping is to maximize separation between the inside and outside antennas. If your van is a metal material, that should provide a pretty good block from the outside to the inside, but we would recommend putting as much distance as possible between the two.
