• It depends. The antenna comes with a holder with suction cups that allow you to attach it to the inside of a window. If you have a window that faces in a direction that receives a cellular signal from your cellular provider's tower, then this unit will boost your signal. Probably not as much as if it was mounted outside.

• You can mount this in the window with a little holster that uses suction cups, not ideal, but it can work in a window.
