I had to uninstall within the webroot app on my computer. I had to use the FAQ to figure out how to do this, but bottom line is the old version needs to be uninstalled for the new one to take effect, even when it is past the expiration date. There is a step by step on how to do this in the FAQs.

Please try again later.No just open the webroot program, do not go under renew.. on right hand side open account and status and just enter the code in the line and activate.. make sure you do It on the last day because you may lose any days you have left on your old subscription
