I had to uninstall within the webroot app on my computer. I had to use the FAQ to figure out how to do this, but bottom line is the old version needs to be uninstalled for the new one to take effect, even when it is past the expiration date. There is a step by step on how to do this in the FAQs.

No just open the webroot program, do not go under renew.. on right hand side open account and status and just enter the code in the line and activate.. make sure you do It on the last day because you may lose any days you have left on your old subscription

No. You just go into your account page from the webroot icon on your home screen and enter your new webroot serial number. It will do the rest.

No. You would just enter in the new key code that you are provided when you buy the new one.

Not at all. Just use the key that came with your new software (assuming you purchased same for same). However, if you purchased a "lesser" product (instead of suite, you got basic antivirus); you may need to contact Webroot Support.

you can add the new key to your current account. webroot will add any days left from you old webroot account
