A:AnswerI was having the same problem and went to the internet and searched for resetting the plugs and following the directions I had to do the reset several times because sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. But once I reset the plugs I was able to start over. Eventually every plug was responding. Having done that on almost every plug at this point it is quite frustrating. Good luck!
A:AnswerYes it can turn anything on and off that you use the plugs for. I use one for my bearded dragon tank. It turns the lights on and off for me rather I'm home or not. Hope this answers your question.
