Just above those buttons you will see very tiny arrow symbols, telling you that those buttons have the alternate function of forward and backward scrolling...and that function is active when you are playing a DVD.

A:AnswerI used a ceiling mount to hang the tv it is fairly light and install was easy. The depth of the tv is probably 4 inches as for the DVD player it is in the back top right corner and about 4 inches behind the tv screen not a great place. I can load it without looking after I've done it a few times. I hope this helps
