Which Roku? The Roku Stick(s) just plug into a HDMI port and you plug their USB cord into the USB port to power the Stick, or you can use the included AC adapter to power it. The Roku Express and Express+ attach the same way: HDMI, and they use wifi to communicate with the router. If you buy a new Roku Stick, Express, or Express+, everything you need will be in the box. If you are using an older Roku with RCA red/white/yellow output, you'd need an RCA cable to attach it to the TV. If you have a Roku that requires ethernet instead of wifi, you need to have an ethernet cable attaching the Roku to either the router or the range extender in order to get the signal to the Ruku, and appropriate HDMI or RCA composite cable to attach the Roku to the TV.
