A:AnswerDear Valued Consumer:
The space requirements are from the cook top surface to the bottom of the cabinet above. This measurement is 30- 33 inches. When considering height, you must consider that you have either a smoothtop range or a gas range with grates that extend up above the cook top. You also might consider the size of the pots you will be using. If you have a large stock pot that you use often, you will need to consider whether you will have room for this on your cooktop under the microwave. In this instance you may want 33 inches of space, if not 30 may do. Model WMH1163XVQ is 17 ¼ inches high in the back and 16 ¼ in the front. Measure the distance you have now from the top of the smooth cook top or top of the grate to the bottom of the cabinet above.

A:AnswerYou probably measured the front height of the microwave. The back is always taller. Model WMH1163XVQ is 29 7/8 wide, 17 ¼ high in the back and 16 ¼ high in the front. The depth is 15 7/16 deep.
When changing an older unit to a new one, you always remove the wall plate and install the new wall plate that will be included with each new unit. There are templates that will come with each microwave that show you where the holes in the top of your cabinet should be and for the new mounting plate at the back wall.
A:AnswerThis microwave can be vented outside or inside. Directions are included for both ways. We chose inside venting as there was no existing outside vent. It works very well vented inside
A:AnswerUnder the microwave...you can clean this filter.....easy to get to.....the top charcoal filter which needs to be replaced every so often is accessed by removing 2 screws at top.
A:AnswerDear Customer:
There is a filler kit available if the width of the cabinet opening is wider than 30 inches, however as this is an over the range microwave it cannot be completely enclosed for a built-in look. If you would like to convert a microwave for a built-in look you will need to purchase a counter-top microwave and the corresponding trim kit.

A:AnswerDear Valued Consumer:
Your microwave model MH6140XKQ1 has product dimensions of 29 7/8, 16 7/16 high and 15 3/8 deep.
Microwave-Hoods have changed over previous years. Unfortunately, we no longer manufacture the exact outer dimensions of your present microwave. Customers have asked for microwaves with more room in them so that they can do more in them and less in their conventional ovens to save energy. Because of this reason, Microwave-Hoods are now larger.

G2Max™ SpeedCook technology combines the use of halogen and quartz light energies to sear steaks and chops with juicy, flavorful results and saves you up to half the cooking time compared to traditional ovens. There is also a “steam cycle.” The menu will give you directions on using the steamer container and what can be steamed. Steam most often refers to the visible white mist that condenses above boiling water as the hot vapor mixes with the cooler air or is vaporized water.
