- Answer It does, and the down lights are 3/4 of the way to the back. Somewhat weak, but I can fix that.

- Answer 99% of over the stove microwave are same size and they will fit. I think 99% microwave are 30". The back rack and top 2 holes may be different positions, but each machine comes with a paper for you to drill the holes. So you can install new microwave

QuestionRegarding prev question of zero clearance door - - - you indicate at least 6" from left wall to microwave so door will open. Is that 6' plus the 29 7/8" width of the unit? I only have 30 " to work with and the rigid pantry wall on the left.

QuestionDoes the door require a 1/2 inch clearance to open or is it a zero clearance door? Replacing older Maytag, selected GE model unaware of 1/2 " clearance required & door would not open more than a few inches. So now looking for suitable replacement

- Answer The door will open up to 90 degrees, but is hinged to only need an extra half inch to the left. The door is inch and a half thick and it begins 15in from the back wall. Hope that helps...
