• The microwave comes with a steamer bowl. You put water in the bottom of the dish and your food on the slotted insert and it steams the food that way.

• You would add a small amount to the steam basket with your vegetable or whatever you are steaming and then follow the directions of the microwaves as to how long to cook them.
