Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn’t have a Whirlpool microwave prior to this one, so I needed to use the new mounting bracket. However, this one needed to be mounted in exactly the same spot and there were so many mounting holes that I was able to use the same points to mount it on the wall. Changing the wall bracket out was the easiest part of the installation. I needed to drill new holes in the cabinet floor above the microwave to hold it in place, but the cardboard template that you cut from the shipping box made this very easy, too. This microwave was very straightforward to install.
