I purchased a 12" pizza pan. Place this on top of the convection rack when using the microwave as a convection oven. Be sure to center the pizza pan over the turntable so the pan does not get knocked off the stand when rotating. Works for tater tots too.

Convection cooking uses the convection element and the fan. Hot air is circulated throughout the microwave oven cavity by the fan. The constantly moving air surrounds the food to heat the outer portion quickly. The convect function may be used to cook small amounts of food on a single rack. Always use the included convection rack placed on turntable. Be sure to use the turntable On option when convection cooking with the convection rack (default setting).
