QuestionJust received our upright freezer today due to our old deep freezer going out. It got cold pretty fast but the outside right and left side are very warm to touch. The back and front are cool. Has anyone else experienced this?

- Answer I would say yes This is not a very large freezer and the bottom “shelf” is a piece of plastic running from side to side. If you over load it it pushes out I bought it because it was cheaper and shorter to get it into the basement Hind sight it’s good be those who don’t have a lot of money

QuestionI have had this freezer for 2 years and the door won't stay closed unless I lock the door. After looking at the door closely I noticed that the seal is the problem. Seems to me that the seal should have lasted longer than 2 years. I'm very disappointed

- Answer Sorry but I’ve had our freezer for 3 mos. and the door stays closed. Other than maybe leveling it it probably is the seal. I would complain to Whirlpool. Hope it’s not took late.
