Q: Questionis there a drip pan or tray available that would go under the ice dispenser / water dispenser. there is nothing as irritating as opening the freezer door and having cold water splash all over the floor from water or ice left after using the dispenser.

• A:Answer Hello mouse24, there is a drip pan underneath the Refrigerator which is to catch water from the defrosting process, however there is not an additional tray for the interior or the outside to catch any standing water.

Q: QuestionCan you use the refrigerator ice and cold water on this model without the water filter since we already have a reverse osmosis filter on the water prior to it going into the refrigerator?

• A:Answer This model does not chill the water it dispenses. The water line comes up from the bottom of the door, near the hinge and apparently does not get routed in the cold space. The model specifications never said anything about dispensing chilled water anyway.

• A:Answer the entire ice tray is removable from the slide. simply pull it towards you gently from below the sight window area, and the whole assembly will slide towards you. be careful, as the unit will be rather heavy if filled with ice. the manufacturer recommends running about 3 loads of ice through the machine to cleanse it out thoroughly. we also used the cube and chip dispenser functions to further clean it out. when you replace the unit, be careful to view where the copper lever is, so it fits (clicks) back into the proper place and doesn't get bent accidentally. Hope this helps!
