Hello Dona, there could be a number of reasons that the icemaker is slow making ice. Was the refrigerator just installed? Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice. Discard the first 3 batches of ice produced. Allow 2 - 3 days to completely fill the ice storage bin. The ice maker should produce approximately 3.2 lbs (1.5 kg) of ice per day under normal operation. Is the ice bin installed correctly? If your refrigerator has an in the door ice making system (external dispenser), ensure the ice bin is fully snapped into place. If the ice bin is not seated or installed correctly it can cause low or no ice production. Please see your Use and Care Guide for specific instructions on installing the ice bin. Do you have the correct water pressure? Hollow or thin ice cubes are likely due to low water pressure. Is the water line connected to a water supply and fully turned on? Make sure the water supply is properly connected to a cold water supply and the water shutoff valve is fully opened. Check to make sure there are no kinks in the water supply line. A kink in the line can reduce water flow. Straighten the water source line to restore adequate water flow and pressure. To help reduce the chances of a pinched water line, do not push the refrigerator too far back against the wall or cabinet. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you.
