What is the metal rack on the inside of the door for null

It is for cans of beer or pop. It was driving me crazy for two days. I never would have figured it out until someone told and now it makes perfect sense. You can fit 6, 12oz cans on their side and they are very secure and out of the way. Really nice feature. Whirlpool should tell you in the instructions what its for.

thanks for the help! I couldn't figure it out either; once my husband knew what it was he suggested I put my wind bottles on it - of course it only works with wine that has screw on lids.

You can put little glass yogurts in there for you peeps that don’t drink soda or beer

For the person that mentioned that the wire rack is too close to the bottom bin, move the bin down. Your remark prompted me to investigate my fridge further then I realized that the bins can be rearranged.

I was wondering what that’s for. That picture makes sense. Mine there’s no gap between the bucket and that soda holding thing so you can’t put anything below the bar. So it waste a lot of space

It is for soda cans but I also use them for those biscuits in the round can, and chilling canned goods like fruit and cranberry sauce.

I don't drink soda. I needed it for other things. You can remove it easily.
