QuestionI plan to put this freezer in an unheated garage. We often have below zero temperatures. Do I need to look at a different model/ brand? Or will this still keep food at a safe temperature? The garage is the only spot I have available.

- Answer Hello Midwesterner, this freezer operates most efficiently when located in an area where the temperature is normally between 32°F (0°C) and 110°F (43°C). - Answer Hi, here is what the Owner's Manual gives for the electrical requirements for this model Chest Freezer: A 115 V, 60 Hz, AC only, 15 or 20 A fused, grounded electrical supply is required. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only your freezer be provided. Use an outlet that cannot be turned off by a switch. Do not use an extension cord. Amperage 20 amperes Voltage v115 volts. We hope this helps!

QuestionSomeone mentioned in reviews that the cord comes out on the right side and was too short to reach the left side and they had to use an extension cord. How long is the power cord.... I'm afraid I may have the same problem.
